Winnie Cheung, DMD

Originally from Hong Kong, Winnie Cheung came to the United States for her graduation and professional degrees. After attending college in Boston, Winnie graduated from the dental program at the University of Pennsylvania in 1999. Following UPenn was a one-year residency at Boston University Medical Center. Dr. Cheung has been practicing in Western Mass for over eight years. First, working at a private practice in Holyoke for six years, and finally opening Sunshine Dental Care in 2006. She is a member of both Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS) and American Dental Association (ADA). Being a family dentist, she prides herself in providing a positive dental experience for adults and children especially. “Getting to know the children and their families, developing new relationships is what has been the most rewarding” she says. Dr. Cheung’s goal is to educate people on the importance of good dental health which directly relates to good, overall health. Her hobbies include reading, traveling, and putting her skills to use as an advanced scuba diver.
